THE PLAINS, Virginia – April 2023 – Five Rings Eventing is pleased to announce the Salamander Collection™ as the official lodging sponsor and Market Salamander™ as the official caterer of the Great Meadow International CIC2, 3 and 4*-S.
The MARS Great Meadow International (MARSGMI) takes place in The Plains, Virginia on August 24-27, 2023 and offers three levels of international and one national level of eventing competition.
In 2022, Salamander opened the Salamander Washington DC, ideally located near all of Washington D.C.’s major attractions. Salamander Washington DC, now part of the Salamander Collection, which also includes the Salamander Resort & Spa located in Middleburg, Virginia, joins the incredible sponsorship team behind MARSGMI.
In 2022, MARSGMI sold out of all its tailgate and hospitality options, showing how this event has grown over the years. “We are delighted that the Salamander Collection is now part of this event,” said Darrin Mollett, co-owner of Five Rings Eventing, “It only elevates the lodging options for our patrons and allows the event to showcase this fantastic collection.”
Once again, MARSGMI will offer a national preliminary division to include more competitors in this
destination event.
