Salamander Resort & Spa Returns as Official Lodging Sponsor, Market Salamander Returns as Caterer

Five Rings Eventing, LLC is pleased to announce the return of Salamander Resort & Spa as the official lodging sponsor and Market Salamander as the official caterer of the MARS Equestrian Great Meadow International.
The MARS Great Meadow International (MARSGMI) takes place in The Plains, Virginia on August 19-22, 2021. With the relaxation of the USEF COVID Action Plan and Virginia Commonwealth’s mandates, MARSGMI is planning to proceed as scheduled with a robust country fair experience in the heart of horse country, Fauquier County, Northern Virginia.
In the challenging summer of 2020, the MARSGMI organizing team created the “Great Meadow Model,” which allowed “sponsors” to attend horse trials again and the remodeled MARSGMI went off without a hitch. “We are excited to return to “the Model” and offer our sponsors and spectators the best and safest viewing experience possible,” said Darrin Mollett of Five Rings Eventing.
“There is a pent-up demand for sporting events, and what better (and safe place) than the outdoors in the beautiful Virginia countryside?” said Reggie Cooper, General Manager of Salamander Resort & Spa, “Market Salamander over-delivered by bringing Salamander quality picnics to the VIP tailgates last year and we know they will continue to impress in 2021 with their expanded offerings to the other tailgates.”
Once again, MARSGMI will offer a national preliminary division to include more competitors in this destination event.
