Boehringer Ingelheim To Sponsor 2023 MARS EQUESTRIAN™ GMI’s Volunteer Headquarters
Volunteer At All Three Great Meadow Events and Receive Extra Prizes!
The Plains, VA – June 2023. Joining the event’s esteemed list of sponsors this year, Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) will bring an added flair to the Volunteer Headquarters at the MARS Great Meadow International (MARSGMI) to be held in The Plains, Virginia August 24-27, 2023. The event is one of the premier three-day eventing competitions in the country, offering CCI4*-S, CCI3*-S, CCI2*-S, and preliminary levels.
As with other prestigious competitions, MARSGMI cannot run without scores of volunteers. Every year the event and its volunteer captain Lindsay Cooley Swan strive to entice volunteers with a streamlined registration and recognition process, robust food offerings, entries in a prize raffle, and the signature yellow GMI VOLUNTEER T-Shirt.
Moreover, for the past two years, the MARSGMI Organizing Committee has participated in the “super supporters” program, providing special prizes to volunteers who contribute at all three recognized three-day events held at the venue.
BI is excited to add to the experience of volunteering by providing additional offerings. “Here at BI, we recognize the importance of volunteers to any event, and want to make the volunteers who continue to support our eventing community feel special,” said Deborah May, of BI Animal Health. “To do that, we thought it would be a great opportunity to provide extra supplies to the Volunteer Headquarters at MARSGMI in order to show our utmost appreciation.”
