THE PLAINS, Virginia - February, 2019 - Great Meadow International is pleased to announce a redesigned and repackaged experience for spectators, competitors, and their canine companions. The 2019 Great Meadow International will take place August 23 to August 25 with an expected attendance of 200 horse and rider combinations across three levels of international competition. New in 2019, the restriction on dogs has been lifted! Leashed dogs are welcome and can enjoy amenities including cooling tents, treat samples, and more. Additions to the event schedule include canine demonstrations and dog-friendly programming, with more details available in the coming months. In line with its new community focus and fuller competitor schedule, GMI’s organizing committee has created more inclusive and accessible options for its patrons, spectators, competitors, and their guests. GMI’s newest hospitality option, the Casual Corner, will offer a convenient and comfortable tent with a cash bar and access to the food truck village for a moderate daily fee. Guests selecting this ringside tent can grab a bite from a variety of vendors and purchase drinks from the bar. Attendees seeking a VIP weekend can enjoy the Patron’s Marquee overlooking the main arena. Tables and half tables are on sale now for those seeking all-inclusive dining and a full-service bar in a private setting. For spectators looking to be close to the action, a variety of tailgates and ringside boxes are also available. As GMI’s organizing committee has the additional expense of building two new cross-country courses, early commitments with discounted pricing on all patron hospitality options are encouraged. For more information or to pre-purchase your table at a discounted rate, please contact Donna Devadas at email@example.com visit greatmeadowinternational.com.
